Lifecycle stage
A HubSpot property describing where a contact or company sits in the relationship—subscriber, lead, MQL, SQL, opportunity, customer and so on.
MQL
Marketing qualified lead: a contact whose behaviour and fit suggest they are ready for sales attention, based on criteria both teams agree on.
SQL
Sales qualified lead: a lead that sales has reviewed and accepted as worth pursuing.
RevOps
Revenue operations—the practice of aligning process, data and systems across marketing, sales and customer success.
Pipeline velocity
How quickly deals move through your pipeline, usually combining deal count, value, win rate and cycle length.
Lead scoring
A points-based model ranking leads by fit and engagement so teams can prioritise follow-up.
